Wood Transfers

I found a new craft that I really enjoyed, wood transfers! I thought the results turned out great for a beginner and all! Can't wait to explore with acrylic paints and with color.

I started with gel medium, wood boards and laser copies of two photos. Note- the copies have to be laser and NOT inkjet

I brushed on the Gel medium pretty thick and laid my photo on top. Now time they are ready to dry overnight. This was the hardest part of the whole process.

Once dry I used water and my finger to rub the paper off. Careful not to press to hard!
