Last week I did a test to determine the best way to dry an Iris for resin jewelry making.
The results:
Borax Soap mixture: The results were less than to be desired. The soap ate away at the Iris making it transparent in certain parts. Good news- because this will be a cool effect in the jewelry making process? |

Silica Gel: Worked great and left the flower will vivid color and detail! This is definitely the way to dry an Iris
